Emma Lockerbie has published the first paper from her ongoing PhD research. Contributing  to the global IndiSeas research project, her findings shows that the sequential analysis of suites of ecological, fishing and environmental indicators can be used in order to determine ecosystem trends in the Southern Benguela, accounting for both the impacts of fishing and the environment on ecosystem components. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.ecolind.2016.04.035
