Based on 18 months of Marieke's ethnographic fieldwork for her PhD, Marieke and Astrid suggest ways in which marine resource lave enforcement can be evaluated at the level of individual fisheries compliance inspectors. We show how individual assessments can be scaled up to station, regional and provincial levels, where they can also contribute to, e.g.,  Ecological Risk Assessments. We show that this can be done in ways that take the overlap of ecological, economic and social dimensions into account, while still being practical in terms of application. Find the paper here.
