Congratulations to Clara Steyn and Emily Weigum for having graduated as Masters  in Conservation Biology and Applied Ocean Sciences, respectively. It was also the first time for Dr Marieke Norton, Post-Doc in our group, to join faculty on stage!

Clara (here with Marieke and Astrid) continues to work with us as research assistant for now. Emily has returned home to Atlantic Canada to pursue a PhD at the University of New Brunswick. Her PhD project will focus on investigating the long term trends in marine resource use and trophic position of Atlantic salmon using archived scales and stable isotope analysis. Well done — we are so proud of all three of you!
