Congratulations to Clara Steyn, whose MSc research has just been published in Food Webs! Clara used Ecopath with EcoSim modelling to explore "Changes in food-web structure and energy flow in kelp forest ecosystems on the south-west coast of South Africa following the invasion of Jasus lalandii" -  our West Coast rock lobster. Her model results are as interesting as they are daunting, since the changes may not be readily reversible. Read the paper here.
