Small but significant

Congratulations to Casey Lyttle, who has published her MSc research in Fisheries Oceanography! Examining high-resolution wave model outputs from 1997 to 2013, she shows that summer nearshore wave heights have increased. While the documented change is small, it is significant and may contribute to the decrease in sea days reported by small-scale fishers in the region. Read more here.
