5th Annual Science Symposium

The 5th Annual Science Symposium is almost upon us! The primary aim of the symposium is to showcase research being conducted by postgraduate students in the Faculty of Science to the broader scientific community. This will provide an excellent opportunity for postgraduate students to gain valuable experience in presenting to a general audience, and should initiate and promote interaction between postgraduate students and researchers from different departments. We would like two students from each department to offer to present their research either by doing an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Abstracts should be submitted via email to spgsc.abstracts@gmail.com before the 29th August, 2012. The abstract may be in Word, OpenOffice or LaTex format and must contain the title of the talk, presenter’s name, supervisor’s name and department. The body of the abstract should contain no more than 200 words. There will be great prizes up for grabs to the top 3 poster and oral presenters.
