Meet the Current ECR Representatives
Introducing our official ECR Representative, Mr Magata Mangatane (PhD Oceanography Student), with the support of the ECR Deputy Rep, Ms Safiyyah Moos (PhD Chemical Engineering Student). The MARiS ECR representatives will work closely with the ECR working group, who will support the rest of the ECR community. The ECR rep is an ex-officio member of the MARIS management team and the scientific steering committee; not only will this position provide them with a great opportunity to represent the ECRs at a decision-making level, but it will also be a great learning experience in terms of what goes into managing a research centre, such as MARIS.
