Prof Marcello Vichi was interviewed by climate journalist, Syris Valentine, from the Eos, a science news magazine published by the American Geophysical Union (AGU), to find out more on Prof Vichi's recent study that used historic records of humpback whale catches in the 1930s as a proxy for sea ice extent.
