Dr Buyani Mazeka

Buyani is a marine nematologist specialising in biodiversity patterns, taxonomy, contaminants, and molecular analyses that complement morphological identification. Currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Biological Sciences, working with Dr Natasha Karenyi in the Marine Benthic Ecology Lab (MarBEL) at the University of Cape Town and affiliated with the centre for Statistics in Ecology, the Environment and Conservation (SEEC).
